Challenges:

God doesn’t tempt you! The devil knows where your weaknesses are and will trap you in them.

Choices 1 Cor 10:13

Watch for triggers! The enemy is lurking and waiting for the opportunity to draw you back in. God WILL provide a way out!

Testings 1 Peter 1:3-7

Testing proves whether our faith is genuine. When you are being tested, others are watching to see how you stand up.

When you choose to follow God’s love, you will be stronger.

Why admit weakness? Because putting light on your shortcomings takes the power away from the enemy!

Character Development, Part 5: Be Secure, Significant, Successful

If you have truth, you have something others want, desire, and need!

Secure 1 Kings 18:17-21

Security comes from knowing the truth and standing on it. Shame, guilt, and embarrassment come from losing (or not having) your security.

Significant 1 Kings 18:33-37

You are significant and important when you are secure in God and let Him work through you.

Successful 1 Kings 18:38-40

When your foundation is God’s truth, you will be successful! Be careful not to let the success go to your head; when you think you’re “all good” you look away from God and set yourself up for a fall.

Who’s running your kingdom? Whose words are you listening to? Don’t believe the lies that will manipulate you.

I Laugh

When I feel fear in me begin to rise, I look to Jesus with my thought and my eyes. And I laugh at Satan’s plan as I sit sage and secure in my Father’s Hand.
When I feel weak or frail I remember the Hand with the nail. And I laugh at Satan’s plan. Because strong and significant I stand.
When I feel I’m a failure or defeated again, I think of His Precious Blood; I don’t lose but win! Now I laugh for eternity at Satan’s plan, as I walk in success seated at His Right Hand!
