Part of chasing dreams is leading others to their dreams. Are you helping or hurting others as you chase your dream?

Don’t be a grumbler and fault-finder. Mine for people as you would mine for gold; don’t look for dirt, look for gold. Love others beyond and in spite of their “dirt”.

E liminate excuses Phil 4:13

When someone says they can’t, help them so they can. Influence those you can and they will influence others.

Accept and love people as they are.

Prepare for your dream to become reality. Find a mentor to help you along and show you the way.

Pass It On 1 Chron 28:8-9

Be a mentor to someone else. Pass on your dream and share your preparations toward that dream so that the dream will live after you are gone.

Praise Him 1 Chron 29:10-13

Praise Him all along the way toward reaching the goal. And even if you are not the one to reach the end, praise and thank Him for His guiding and loving hand.

You are given rights by your creator to pursue Life, Liberty, and Happiness. However, hard work and determination without God is a self made man building his life on a pile of sand.

In the end nothing is gained under the sun. It will all pass away.

He – Runs Deut 28:1-13

If you obey God and his word his blessing will be upon you many times.

We – Run John 15:5

If you remain true to him his blessing will bear you much fruit. Your life will be fulfilled and your dreams will be blessed and you will prosper in his name.

God will send people to help and advise you along the way. Ask for their help and accept it when it is offered.

You are a member of the body. At some point, God will stop your dream until you allow His hands (His people) to help complete the dream.

Faith Builder, Part 6: Looking for “Underdogs”

Hot Dogs Rom 12:3

God ain’t looking for hot dogs! He’s looking for humility, not a haughty attitude. We don’t know how to fix things – we need to go humbly to Him for help.

Superdogs Matt 7:21-23

“We don’t need help! We can do it all.” But are we spending time with Him? God is looking for those who come to Him for help and rely on His provisions.

Underdogs 1 Cor 1:26-29

God doesn’t want you to be it all or do it all. He’s looking for those who are humble, meek, weak; those who don’t boast so He will get the glory and for those who appreciate what He does for them.

Plan for Underdogs Josh 1:6-8

God WILL give you your dream – be strong and courageous! Don’t be distracted. YOU CAN DO IT!
Speak It  “Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth;…”
Think It  “… meditate on it day and night,…”
Do It  “… so that you may be careful to do everything written in it.”

Joshua didn’t win when the walls of Jericho fell; he had already won on the first day when he met with God!
